Dell PowerEdge SC1424 w/ 2 Xeon DC 3.2 Ghz Processors, 2 X2GB memory, 2 Western Digital 500 GB Green HD, I added a DVD player but I also have a usb DVD Burner that I use with it as well. I have 4 GB of storage attached to it through the 2 back USB port. I currently have 6 Win 7 machines and 2 XP Machines. My favorite thing is to upload my training video on to the HomeServer then I can stream them well I lay comfortably in my bed.

When I go to 2011 I well be using a Dell PowerEdge 1950 Gen ll with 2 QC 3.0 Ghz processor, 16 GB ram, (2) 1.5 GB HD. The PowerEdge comes with a 5s/i raid SAS card but I’m going to replace it and use a 6 for raid /sas. Of course it has two GiGbit lan ports, dvd RW. It is set up on my LAN being tested out.

I don’t run my HomeServer headless I have a 8 port Belkin KVM that I use for 4 servers, 2 workstations, & 1 laptop. The 8th port is used for testing or repairing friends & family computers.
So much fun!!!!
